About LICEF Emmasdale Campus
LICEF SECONDARY is situated at Burma Road campus. It consists of Junior Secondary which include Grades 8 to 9 and High School consisting of Grades 10s, 11s and A Level. The secondary section is housed in separate boys’ and girls’ blocks in distinct sectors on the same campus. There are separate science laboratories, computer laboratories, libraries, play areas, tuck shop facilities and even pupils’ pick up points for each section (boys and girls). The timings for this section are 07:30hrs to 15:30hrs Mondays to Thursdays and 07:30hrs to 11:40hrs on Fridays.
The Junior Secondary follows the Zambian Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) program which culminates into the public examination called Junior Secondary School Leaving Examination at the end of Grade 9. At Grade 9, a School Check Point Assessment is used for promotion to Grade 10 instead of the external Grade 9 Junior Secondary School Leaving Examination (JSSLE) by Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ).

At Grade 9, a School Check Point Assessment is used for promotion to Grade 10 instead of the external Grade 9 Junior Secondary School Leaving Examination (JSSLE) by Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ).
At High School, the school follows the Cambridge Assessment International Examinations (CAIE) following the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) program. This is taught from Grade 10 and final examinations are conducted at the end of Grade 11 in October/ November of every academic year.
At A Levels, the school offers a two year program with learners given an option to write their examinations at Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level after one year and write the remaining component at the end of the following year. Learners write a mid- term examination followed by an end of term assessment for each term. The results for the three terms in a year are averaged and a yearly aggregate total used for the promotion to the next grade.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
These include activities such as soccer, netball, badminton, cricket, basketball, gym, table tennis, volleyball, JETS, maths club, coding club and debate.
